Our Mission
We are committed to training and developing youth in amateur sports, promoting self-determination, self-awareness and self-confidence and encouraging academic responsibility.
THE ST. LOUIS SCORPIONS TRACK CLUB
The organization was established in 2017 by Coach Terry Robinson to provide each athlete the opportunity to reach his or her full potential by developing athleticism, an attitude that promotes health and physical fitness, and the achievement of competitive excellence through participation in track and field and cross-country competition.
The St. Louis Scorpions is a non-profit youth organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code located in the St Louis, Missouri area. Our track club serves St. Louis area youths ages 5-18 years old. Our club is a member of the USA Track and Field (USATF), Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), and The Ozark Association.
In July 2017 thirteen (13) of our athletes traveled to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in the AAU Jr. Olympics competing against more than 3,000 athletes. All thirteen (13) of our athletes broke personal records and two (2) of our athletes went on to become All-American Athletes!
Between 2018 and 2021, over 100 of our athletes participated in the Jr. Olympic Games and the Club Championships in Orlando,FL with a host of athletes receiving All-American status.
Through the volunteer efforts of coaches, parents, supporters and encouragers, the Club strives to develop into a POSITIVE OUTLET for the youth of St. Louis’ inner city and surrounding counties and communities. Ultimately by providing a rigorous track and field program and character development program we seek to instill in our youth a sense of pride, self-respect, and personal work ethic that will encourage them to strive for excellence in all of their future endeavors.
Our Outdoor Track & Field Season will be here before you know it
The St. Louis Scorpions track program seeks to provide a development environment for runners who want to compete at all levels. We provide a team focused training environment and resources to attend competitions for qualifying athletes.
